In 1922 Mr. M. den Haan started a small tinsmith in Rotterdam.  Now, four generations later, Dignus den Haan took over the lead of the company his great-grandfather started more than 90 years ago. All these years have brought new products and insights. But there is one thing they have in common: high quality.

During the rich history of DHR, there has never been compromised on knowledge and materials used. DHR continuously innovates thier products to be a competative player in maritime signalling solutions. Due to the innovations all these years two types of products evolved. The professional products for the maritime industry and the oil lamps for decorative purposes. Sharing the same quality standards and coming from the original purpose: Safety at sea.
