DHR H400 Series
DHR H400 Series Marine Air Horn
The DHR H400 Series is a high-performance pneumatic marine air horn designed for reliable acoustic signalling on seagoing and inland vessels.
Engineered for durability in harsh maritime environments, the H400 combines a robust 316L stainless steel membrane housing with a powder-coated brass horn, ensuring long service life and dependable operation onboard commercial and work vessels.
The horn complies with the requirements of COLREG ’72 sound signalling regulations and is suitable for
seagoing vessels up to 75 metres in length. It is also used on inland navigation vessels operating on European waterways and the German
Seeschifffahrtsstraßen, where the same acoustic signalling requirements apply as for seagoing vessels of equivalent length.
Powered by the vessel’s compressed air system, the H400 delivers a powerful and clearly audible signal, ensuring safe navigation and compliance with international maritime regulations.
The horn requires an airflow of 8 – 12 l/s at 7 bar, which is typically supplied by the vessel’s onboard compressor system with an air storage tank.
